JUSTICE H.P.SANDESH ORAL ORDER Learned counsel for both the parties are present and joint memo is filed before the Court, in view of the settlement arrived between the parties. 2. In terms of the settlement, the petitioner has agreed to pay Rs.3,00,000/- to the respondent as full and final settlement. The amount already deposited before the Trial Court is to the tune of Rs.2,11,000/- and the respondent/complainant is permitted to withdraw the said amount and the petitioner has no objection for the same. The - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010316172024 NC: 2026:KHC:39760 CRL.RP No. 799 of 2024 balance amount of Rs.89,000/- is also paid and the same is acknowledged by the complainant/respondent. 3. In view of the joint memo and settlement arrived between the parties, the revision petition is disposed of and the petitioner is acquitted for the offence under Section 138 of N.I. Act. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to deposit the amount of Rs.1,000/- within one week from today before the Trial Court which shall vest with the State and produce the receipt in the Registry thereafter within one week.
