Order 29/04/2026
1. The petitioner has filed this 4th interim bail application under Section 483 of BNSS in FIR No.231/2021 registered at Police Station Arai, District Ajmer for offences under Sections 302, 120B and 506 of IPC on the ground of marriage of cousin sisters of the petitioner.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.
3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with the aforesaid case. It is submitted that marriage of the cousin sisters of the petitioner is going to be held on 30.04.2026. It is further submitted that the petitioner shall surrender himself immediately after expiry of the interim bail period and shall not misuse the liberty so granted.
[2026:RJ-JP:18266] (2 of 2) [CRLMB-6718/2026]
4. Learned Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the interim bail application filed by the petitioner. It is submitted that there is no marriage of the petitioner’s sisters, and in fact, it is the marriage of the petitioner’s brother’s son that is scheduled to be solemnized on 30.04.2026. Therefore, the ground taken in the interim bail application is incorrect and misleading. In view of the same, it is prayed that the interim bail application be rejected.
5. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and after perusing the material available on record, this Court is not inclined to grant the benefit of a fourth interim bail to the petitioner.
6. The fourth interim bail application stands dismissed.
