ORAL ORDER
1. Accused No.5 in Crime No.71/2026 registered by Pension Mohalla Police Station, Hassan, for the offences punishable under Sections 310(2) and 127 of BNS, 2023, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.71/2026 registered by Pension Mohalla Police Station, Hassan, for the aforesaid offences against six unknown persons based on the first information dated 14.05.2026 received from Naveena S/o late Puttaraju, who is the alleged victim in the present case. During the course of investigation, petitioner was arrested on 14.05.2025 and in her remand application, she is arrayed as accused No.5. Her bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.510/2026 was rejected on 10.06.2026. Therefore, she is before this Court. 4. In the first information dated 13.05.2026 submitted at about 16 hours, it is averred that on 12.05.2026 at about 05.00

p.m., first informant had received a call on his mobile phone and the lady, who had made the call had asked him to make arrangements for a birthday party in her house. Accordingly, petitioner, who is an event manager, had gone to the said house at about 08.30 p.m. on 12.05.2026 and in the said house, he saw two girls aged about 22 to 23 years. When he was talking to the said girls inside the said house, about four boys who came to the said house, all of a sudden started questioning him and they also assaulted him and after removing his clothes, they allegedly recorded his video. It is alleged that the accused persons thereafter demanded a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- from him and snatched cash of Rs.6,500/- from his pocket and also two gold rings weighing 8 grams and 7 grams respectively. 5. In respect of the alleged incident that had taken place on 12.05.2026 between 08.30 p.m. to 02.30 a.m., first information is belatedly filed on 13.05.2026 at about 04.00 p.m. It is not in dispute that petitioner, who is an unmarried lady, aged 20 years has no other criminal antecedents.
She is in custody for the last more than two months. The maximum

punishment for the alleged offences is imprisonment for a period of ten years. She has undertaken to cooperate with the police for the purpose of investigation. Under the circumstances, the following order:-
6. The petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.71/2026 registered by Pension Mohalla Police Station, Hassan, for the offences punishable under Sections 310(2) and 127 of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions:
a) Petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court;
b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts her appearance for valid reasons;
c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses;

d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future;
e) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court without permission of the said Court until the case registered against her is
disposed off.
