The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the official respondents to ensure protection of the life and personal liberty of the petitioners from the illegal acts and threats allegedly extended by the private respondents as the petitioners want to live together in a live in relationship and want to marry with each other after petitioner No. 2 attains the age of marriage, but they are facing hard opposition from the family members of petitioner No. 1. 2.
