ORAL ORDER
1. Sri.Prasanna.V.R.,
learned counsel has entered appearance for the respondent No.5. Hence, registry is directed to delete the name of Sri.A.Keshava Bhat., as that appearing for respondent No.5.
2. The petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Call for the records pertaining to set up of Wet-Well in Survey No.147/1AP in Ullal, Mangaluru;
b. Issue Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or Order or Direction to the Respondents to consider the representation submitted to the Petitioner at Annexure-A, A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5 respectively dated 1st February 2026;
c. Grant Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondents to Stop the construction of Wet-Wells abetting to the lands of the Petitioner, residential premises being the Schedule Property belonging to the Petitioner: and
d. Grant such other Writ, Order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant under the facts

and circumstances of the case in the interests of justice and equity.

The grievance of the petitioners, the petitioner No.1 being an ex-member of the Karnataka Legislative Council and a resident of Ullal is that the respondents are setting up wet wells in and around Ullal without obtaining necessary permission and in that background the petitioners had submitted representation at Annexure-A series on 01.02.2026 which has not been considered and acted upon by the respondent.
4. Sri.Gurudas Shyamrao Kannur, learned Senior Counsel appearing for respondents No.3 and 6 submits that the said represention would be considered necessary orders passed within a period of three weeks from today. His submission answers the grievance of the petitioner. Hence, this Court passes the following;
ORDER i. The writ petition is partly-allowed. ii. Directing respondents No.3 and 6 to consider the aforesaid representation at Annexure-A Series dated 01.02.2026 and pass necessary orders within three weeks from today i.e., on or before 17.08.2026.

iii. It is made clear that the said representation would have to be considered in accordance with law. iv. In the event of the representation being rejected, the rejection order would necessarily have to be accompanied by reasons.
