Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioners is taken on record. 2. Prayer is made in this writ petition for giving direction upon the concerned police authorities to take steps based on the complaint lodged by the petitioners. 3. State respondents and respondent nos. 5 and 6 are represented by learned advocates and jointly present writ petition is opposed by them. 4. Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 23rd July, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Shyampur Police Station, Howrah and same is taken on record. Copies of the communication 2 dated 23rd July, 2026 are made over to the learned advocates representing petitioners and respondent nos. 5 and 6. 5. It is disclosed in the aforesaid communication that based on same incident subsequently complaint was lodged by petitioner no. 2 which gave rise to criminal prosecution being Shyampur P.S. Case No. 462 of 2026 dated 22nd July, 2026. 6. Since it is disclosed in the communication that taking note of same incident which took place on 12th April, 2026 FIR is registered and case has commenced no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 7. However, concerned investigating agency is directed to investigate aforesaid criminal prosecution in accordance with law expeditiously and submit report before the jurisdictional Magistrate. 8. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings. (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.)
