3. Petitioner was employed as Constable (General Duty) in Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). He was removed from service, vide
order dated 11.12.2025, passed by Commandant, 3rd Battalion, ITBP.
4. Against the
order of removal, petitioner filed an appeal. Since the appeal was not being decided, therefore, petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking a direction to the appellate authority to decide the appeal dated
19.12.2025.

Learned counsel appearing for Union of India was given time to get instructions in the matter. Today, learned counsel for Union of India has produced in Court the order dated 12/13.03.2026, passed by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Regional Headquarter, Lucknow, which is taken on record. Perusal of the said order reveals that petitioner’s appeal has been rejected.
6. Since, the only relief sought by the petitioner was to decide the appeal within stipulated time and appeal has now been decided, therefore, no further direction needs to be issued in this writ
2026:UHC:2816 petition.
7. The writ petition is, accordingly,
disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the dismissal order and the
order passed by the appellate authority, before the appropriate forum.
