The office objection is overruled. 2. The present writ petition has been filed seeking for following relief(s):- 10.1.That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ/writs, direction/directions, order/orders and the respondent authorities may kindly be directed to consider the case of the petitioner for grant supernumerary pay grade before retirement and all consequential benefits Digitally signed by JYOTI JHA Date: 2026.08.14 17:54:30 +0530 2 according to order dated 01/10/2018 with the arrears and interest within a stipulated period of two months. 10.2] That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ/writs, direction/directions, order/orders and respondent authorities may kindly be directed to re- determine the pension, leave encashment on the basis of annexure P/3. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief(s), which is deemed fit and proper in the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the petitioner being duly selected for the post of Junior Engineer and his name being placed at Serial No. 1 in the select/waiting list, he was not appointed against the available departmental vacancies. It is further submitted that the petitioner was subsequently placed below his juniors in the gradation list. Consequently, he submitted a representation, Annexure P/18, seeking grant of the supernumerary pay grade and consequential benefits in terms of the order dated 01.10.2018; however, the said representation has not yet been decided by the respondent authorities. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent/s does not oppose the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioners. 5. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the competent authority is directed to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P/18) submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall be at liberty to submit an additional representation along with all relevant documents, if so advised. 6.
