CRM(NDPS) 1511 of 2026 Allowed An application for bail under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Kaliganj P.S. Case No.936 of 2025 dated 12.11.2025 under Sections 20(b)(ii)C of the NDPS Act, 1985. And
In the matter of: Sefali Sarkar … petitioner
Mr. A.A. Mondal
… for the petitioner
Mr. Somnath Adhikary
Ms. Jayashree Patra
… for the State
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly placed as the other accused who has been granted bail in CRM(NDPS) 1271 of 2026. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute the contention that the petitioner is not similarly situated as the other accused who has been granted bail. Having considered that Haider Ali Sk. @ Haydar Ali Sekh is similarly placed as the petitioner, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the petitioner, namely, Sefali Sarkar be released on bail on same terms and conditions by the learned trial court as was imposed upon Haider Ali Sk. @ Haydar Ali Sekh in CRM(NDPS) 1271 of 2026. Thus, CRM(NDPS) 1511 of 2026 is allowed.
