1. Heard Sri Amit Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
2. The sole prayer made in the instant writ petition is for expediting disposal of Revision No. REV/3272/2025 [Computerized Case No. AL20250544003272] (Shobha Singh vs. SDM Tamkuhi and others), which is stated to be pending before the Board of Revenue.
3. Learned Standing Counsel representing the State respondents submits that such a revision is not maintainable and therefore the relief so prayed for in the writ petition may not be granted.
4. Be that as it may, since the petitioner has prayed solely for expeditious disposal of the revision, therefore, the issue of maintainability of the revision itself is not to be adjudicated by this Court at this stage.
5. In view of the prayer so made in the writ petition, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending and therefore, respondent no. 2 is requested to consider and decide Revision No. REV/3272/2025 [Computerized Case No. AL20250544003272] (Shobha Singh vs. SDM Tamkuhi and others), stated to be pending before it, within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before it.
6. It is however made clear that it respondent no. 2 shall not be influenced by the instant order while considering the question of maintainability of Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Amit Pratap Singh, Ashraf Ali Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Shobha Singh .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s)
the revision.
