Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for 1 year 1 month and till date, five witnesses have been examined, out of 24 witnesses cited by the prosecution. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the present petitioners were evading the process of law for three years and have surrendered on 26.06.2025 and it is then only the trial would commence. Having considered the conduct of the present petitioners, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioners on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected. 2 State is directed to conclude rest of the witnesses at the earliest. The application for bail, being CRM (M) 1604 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
