THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE and HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE K.S. HEMALEKHA ORAL ORDER (PER: HON'BLE MR. VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE) 1. The learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent No.1. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that the Lokayukta has already filed W.P.No.11395/2026 in regard to the offences alleged in the present writ petition and seeks liberty to be impleaded in the said writ petition. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010266192026 NC: 2026:KHC:39499-DB WP No. 12465 of 2026 3. Since the issues sought to be raised in the present petition are already the subject matter of another writ petition, we do not consider it apposite to entertain the present petition as a public interest litigation. 4. Insofar as the petitioner's request to permit him to be impleaded in W.P.No.11395/2026 is concerned, we do not propose to pass any such order. However, it shall be open to the petitioner to move an appropriate application before the concerned Court in W.P.No.11395/2026. 5. It is needless to state that if any such application is moved before the concerned Court, the same shall be considered on its own merits. The petition is, accordingly disposed of.
