Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has handed over his vehicle on the basis of an agreement to one Manoj Roy and the vehicle at the relevant point of time was not in his custody. The genesis of this fact is based on a notarized document. Learned advocate for the State is present and opposes the bail application. 2 I find from the record of the case that the earlier the anticipatory bail application of the present petitioner was rejected in CRM (A) 178 of 2024. Having regard to the nature of the documents presented and its veracity, I am not inclined to accept such contention at a belated stage. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner in CRM (A) 986 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
