The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), seeking directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to perform their statutory duties and ensure a free and fair investigation in FIR No.44 dated 29.04.2024, registered under Sections 420 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (corresponding to Sections 318(4) and 316 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023) and Section 13 of the Punjab Travel Profession Act, 2014, at Police Station Dhariwal, District Gurdaspur. The petitioner further seeks directions to the competent authority to decide the representation dated 13.07.2026, submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law. 2.
