The prayer in this writ petition is for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner seeking 60 days furlough of her son Robin @ Robbinson, who is a convict prisoner lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal-I. 2. Mr.Muniyapparaj, on instructions, would submit that 28 days ordinary leave was granted by the prison authorities under the Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules and that the petitioner’s representation seeking furlough would be considered independently within a period of three weeks from today. 3. Recording the said statement, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 28.02.2026 within a period of three week from today.
