This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:- “(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 1 to decide the case no. 11+73 u/s 12 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 titled as Rajesh Kumar Vs. Recovery Officer Rakesh Pratap Singh + Charab Jain Vs. Smt. Urmila Devi expeditiously within a stipulated time frame prescribed by this Hon'ble Court. (II) Issue any other writ order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. (III) Award the cost of present writ petition to the petitioners.” 2. Heard Mr. Siddharth Jain, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. Ghansyam Joshi, learned Addl. Mr. Siddharth Jain, Advocate, submitted that the said case (No. 11+ 73) is pending since 25.10.2023. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the Consolidation Officer IIIrd, Roorkee, District Haridwar is directed to make an endeavor to decide the said case (No. 11 + 73) as expeditiously as possible, as per law, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to the parties. 5. With the said directions, the present Writ Petition (WPMS No.3786 of 2025) is disposed of. 6.
