… for the Petitioner(s)
Mr. Surabhi Banerjee
… for the State-respondent(s)
Affidavit of service filed be kept with the record. The petitioner is in custody for more than four months and charge-sheet has been submitted before the learned jurisdictional court. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. On perusal of the case records, I find that the evidence of the victim is yet to be recorded. Having considered the same, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. However, the petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the victim is complete.
2 Accordingly, CRM (M) 1590 of 2026 is dismissed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
