By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for following RAGHVENDRA JAT Digitally signed by RAGHVENDRA JAT 2 reliefs:- “10.1 To call for the records of the case for the kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court. 10.2 To issue an appropriate writ or order and direct the respondent authorities to pass appropriate award after acquiring the land bearing Khasra No. 2591 belonging to the petitioners as per the land Acquisition Act 2013 and thereafter to disburse the entire compensation along with interest @ 18% per annum from the date of possession. 10.3 To issue an appropriate writ or order and direct the respondent authorities to disburse the compensation amount to the petitioner along with the interest within a period of 30 days. 10.4 Any other relief deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be granted.” 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition with liberty to submit an appropriate representation before the concerned authorities, stating that the land belonging to the petitioners were acquired as way back in the year 1985; however, despite the passage of considerable time, the compensation payable in respect of such acquisition has not been paid to the petitioners till date. It is, therefore, prayed that liberty may kindly be granted to the petitioners to approach the concerned authorities by way of a detailed representation for redressal of the aforesaid grievance. 3. Per contra, learned counsel appearing for the State has no objection to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners. 3 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and, particularly, the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioners that the subject land was acquired in the year 1985 and the compensation allegedly payable in respect thereof has not yet been disbursed, the petitioners are permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to submit an appropriate representation before the concerned authorities, along with a copy of this order and all relevant documents, within a reasonable period. In the event such representation is submitted, the concerned authorities shall consider and decide the same, strictly in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the representation along with a copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioners, and the competent authority shall take an appropriate decision on the representation independently and in accordance with law. 7.
