The detenu has been produced before us today. Upon being questioned, the detenu has stated that he has separated from the petitioner on account of various differences between them and he is not under the confinement or illegal detention of any person. As neither the petitioner nor the learned counsel for the petitioner is present, the matter is adjourned. As the statement of the alleged detenu has been recorded, there shall be no further need for appearance of the detenu, and his presence is dispensed with. Post on 18.06.2026.” 3. On that date neither the petitioner nor learned counsel for the petitioner was present. 4. Today, Sri M. Satyanarayana, learned counsel appointed by Andhra Pradesh Legal Services Authority appears for the petitioner. 5. After going through the order dated 16.06.2026, we are satisfied that in view of the statement made by the detenue on 16.06.2026, the writ petition for for Habeas Corpus does not survive any more. 5. The writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
