A report has been submitted by the jail authorities which reflects that the petitioner is at the advanced stage of pregnancy and the report which has been prepared reflects that the estimated date of delivery is 17.07.2026. Without going into the merits of the case and having considered the health issues, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner, namely, Rekhsona Khatun shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM, Lalbagh, Murshidabad. If on 2 bail, the petitioner shall furnish the address where she would be residing and the police authorities would, if required, give surprise visits for assessing the availability of the petitioner at the said address. The said conditions would continue for a period of one year from date. Thereafter, the petitioner would make herself physically available before the learned trial court and shall not leave the district of Murshidabad without prior permission of the learned trial court. Accordingly, CRM(M) 662 of 2026 is allowed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
