The instant writ petition has been filed for correction of his date of birth and the name of his mother in his Class 10th marksheet/certificate. It is stated that the petitioner has already submitted a representation/application dated 18.06.2026 (Annexure P-7), before the concerned authority, but the same has not yet been considered and decided. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent No.2 may be directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation (Annexure P-7) within a stipulated period, in accordance with law. 3. Learned State counsel, on instructions, would submit that if the said application for correction is still pending before the Respondent No.2, the same shall be considered in accordance with the rules and prevailing regulations within a period of 30 days. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and having regard to the nature of the grievance raised in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2026 (Annexure P-7), in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with a copy of the representation. 6. It is made clear that the respondent No.2 shall consider the claim of the petitioner independently on its own merits. 7. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
