Mr. Satyam Sarkar. …..For the Petitioner 1. The petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of the MAT Suit No. 496 of 2025 which is pending before the learned 1st, Fast Track Court, Jalpaiguri. 2. The petitioner being the husband in the said MAT suit expresses willingness to pay reasonable permanent alimony and to provide appropriate expenses for the minor children thereby seeking for an early disposal of the suit in a time bound manner for dissolution of the marriage by mutual consent. 3. The prayer of the petitioner is innocuous. Neither the parties stand to lose if a proceeding is disposed of expeditiously. Infact such expeditious disposal shall enure to the benefit of the parties. 2 4. The revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, 1st Fast Track Court, Jalpaiguri to decide the Mat suit upon giving adequate opportunities to the parties, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, strictly in accordance with law, peremptorily within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order. 5. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the suit. 6. The learned Court shall proceed independently in accordance with law without being influenced with the observations made in the said order. 7. However, it is made clear that since the husband prays for reconciliation to be taken before commencement of evidence shall be considered in course of hearing of the suit. 8. A copy of the revisional application along with the server copy of this order be served upon the opposite party and the learned advocate contesting the matter on behalf of the opposite party in the learned Court below within a week. 3 9. Affidavit of service to be filed before the Court below. 10. The revisional application stands disposed of. 11. There shall be no order as to costs. 12. Parties are to act on the server copy of this order. 13. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
