The present Writ Petition is filed seeking for release of salaries to the Petitioners for the period they worked pursuant to the interim orders dated 28.06.2022 and 24.01.2023 passed in W.P.Nos.16910 of 2022 and 1496 of 2023 respectively permitting the Petitioners to continue beyond the age of 60 years in terms of the enhanced age of superannuation for the Government employees after 62 years issued vide G.O.Ms.No.15, Finance Department, dated 31.1.2022. 2. Heard Smt. S.D. Prasanna Kumari, learned counsel for the Petitioners, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-II and Sri Ravi Kumar Ponakampalli, learned counsel for the Respondent No.3-Society. 3. At the time of hearing, it is stated that W.P.Nos.16910 of 2022 and 1496 of 2023 were dismissed on 06.09.2023 vacating the interim orders therein. 5 4. The grievance of the Petitioners is that they are entitled to be paid salaries for the period they worked pursuant to interim orders of this Court passed in W.P.Nos.16910 of 2022 and 1496 of 2023. 5. The learned Standing Counsel states that this Court disposed of W.P.Nos.10271 of 2023 and batch on 29.01.2026 filed by the similarly placed persons directing the authorities concerned to pay salaries to the Petitioners therein for the period they worked, however said period of service shall not be counted for calculating the retirement benefits. 6. In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of Order dated 29.01.2026 passed in W.P.Nos.10271 of 2023 and batch directing Respondent No.2 to pay salaries to the Petitioners for the period they worked in the respective posts within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. No order as to costs. 8.
