JUSTICE ARUN DEV CHOUDHURY ORDER 18.02.2026 1. Heard Mr. M. H. Ansari, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. A. Chaliha, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. This Court under its order dated 15.09.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 1229/2022, directed the respondent authorities to consider the claim of the petitioner for payment of minimum scale of pay and make due payment, if they are entitled. 3. Pursuant to such direction of this Court, a speaking order dated 22.07.2024 has been passed by the Principal cum Chief Superintendent, Dhubri Medical College & Hospital & Chairman, Hospital Management Society, Dhubri Medical College & Hospital, Dhubri, which is placed on record. 4. By the aforesaid speaking order, the claim of the petitioners was found to be devoid of merit and therefore, rejected their claim. 5. In view of the aforesaid, this Court is of the opinion that the order dated 15.09.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 1229/2022 has duly been complied with. 6. Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands closed. 7. It is needless to say that the petitioners shall be at liberty to assail such speaking order dated 22.07.2024 has been passed by the Principal cum Chief Superintendent, Dhubri Medical College & Hospital & Chairman, Hospital Management Society, Dhubri Medical College & Hospital, Dhubri, if so desires. 8.
