This Writ Petition has been filed against the inaction on the part of respondent authorities in not deciding the representation of the petitioner preferred by him with respect to releasing the undisputed amount of the bill raised by the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner runs his business in AVINASH SHARMA Digitally signed by AVINASH SHARMA Date: 2026.08.06 09:42:11 +0530 2 the name of Adarsh Kiraya Bhandar situated at Phool Chowk, Naveen market, Raipur C.G. Respondent No.3 issued work order on 07.05.2021 in favour of the petitioner for supplying various goods i.e. Table, Chairs, Jambo Cooler, Pandal etc in covid-19 vaccination centre organized by the respondents. He submits that after completion of the aforesaid program, the petitioner submitted bills of work done by him to the tune of Rs.8,50,000/- for payment before the respondents. However, despite lapse of about 5 years, payment of bills has not been made by the respondents. He draws attention of this Court towards Annexure P/4 which is bills submitted by him and those bills are endorsed by Zone Commissioner Zone 7, Municipal Corporation Raipur. He submits that his representation is pending before the authorities as such necessary directions may be issued to them for disbursement of the amount. 3. On the other hand, counsel for Municipal Corporation Raipur submits that if the representation has been filed by the petitioner it will be considered by the authorities, in accordance with law. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents annexed with the petition, particularly the invoice dated 09.06.2021 which has been endorsed by the Zone Commissioner, Zone 7, Municipal Corporation Raipur which also reflect his signature and seal, which suggests that concerned authorities have approved those bills, as such, without entering into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner keeping in view endorsement made by Zone Commissioner, Zone 7, Raipur in the bills and pass appropriate orders in 3 respect of the claim of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
