Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned FIR dated 15.03.2026 registered as case crime no. 188 of 2026 under Section 3, 5, 11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, Police Station – Patel Nagar, District – Derhadun. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to arrest the petitioner in case crime no. 188 of 2026 under Section 3, 5, 11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, Police Station – Patel Nagar, District – Dehradun, till the pendency of present petition.” 4. After arguing at length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to surrender before the court concerned on or before 22.05.2026, however, he may be given some protection till such time. 5. State Counsel has no objection to it. 6. In such view of the matter, the instant petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the court concerned on or before 22.05.2026 till then no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.
