1. A common order is being passed to dispose of both petitions. The issue involved is not complex.
2. Both these petitioners are minor children who had gone to get their Aadhaar Card prepared by a Union Bank of India UADAI franchisee operating within the premises of the Union Bank of India at Prayagraj. The petitioners are Rifat Bano (Aadhaar No.6770 6418 8261) and Jigyansh (Aadhaar No. 3579 9913 4198). Both children had their biometrics entered into the database of respondents Nos. 1 to 3 on the same day and at approximately the same time. During this process, the biometrics of the two children were interchanged. As a result, the biometrics of Jigyansh were linked to the Aadhaar details of Rifat Bano, Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Sunil Kumar, Virendra Yadav Counsel for Respondent(s) : A.S.G.I., Abhishek Kumar Saroj, Rajesh Tripathi, Santosh Kumar Mishra Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Abhishek Kumar Saroj, Karishma Nigam Counsel for Respondent(s) : A.S.G.I., Rajesh Tripathi, Santosh Kumar Mishra, Sunil Kumar Rifat Bano .....Petitioner(s) Union Of India And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) Jigyansh .....Petitioner(s) Union Of India And 3 Others .....Respondent(s)
and vice versa. This position is admitted even by the respondents.

Therefore, both these petitions are disposed of with a request to respondents Nos. 1 to 3 to cancel the original Aadhaar cards, if not done already; and prepare fresh Aadhaar cards for both the petitioners, ensuring that their respective biometrics are correctly entered against their Aadhaar details. This exercise be carried out within 40 days from the date of communication of this order.
