JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before the Court seeking the following prayers: "a. quash the First Information Report in Crime No.140/2026 registered by Kumbalagodu Police Station - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010527702026 NC: 2026:KHC:39924 CRL.P No. 11455 of 2026 for offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 319(2), 336(2), 336(3), 329(3), 340(2) and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and all consequential investigation and proceedings pending on the file of the II Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bengaluru Rural District at Bengaluru, vide Annexure-A insofar as the Petitioner is concerned; b. pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Learned SPP-I would submit that in all these cases, this Court has closed the proceedings directing the parties to appear before the Investigating Officer and continue the investigation. 3. In that light, there is no warrant of showing special consideration to the present petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would co-operate with the investigation provided the police should not arrest the petitioner. 5. While that order cannot be passed, but in the facts and circumstances, this Court would direct the concerned Court hearing the bail application to conclude the hearing of the bail - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010527702026 NC: 2026:KHC:39924 CRL.P No. 11455 of 2026 application and pass necessary orders within one week from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
