This petition has been filed for initiating proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for alleged wilful disobedience of order dated 28.08.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by a Division Bench of this Court in CWP-15253-2025. The order dated 28.08.2025 reads thus:- “1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition at this stage with liberty to approach respondent No.3 for redressal of its grievance. 2. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage with aforesaid liberty.” 2. A perusal of the aforesaid order shows that no decision or direction has been given in that order. The writ petition has only been dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to approach SUMIT KUMAR 2026.07.17 16:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment COCP-3190-2026 (O&M) -2- respondent No.3 for redressal of its grievance. A careful reading of the order reproduced hereinabove would show that the petitioner had withdrawn the writ petition of its own volition, seeking liberty to approach respondent No.3. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has failed to show any violation or disobedience of the aforesaid order. Hence, the instant petition being wholly misconceived and misdirected deserves to be rejected. 4. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed.
