This is an application filed for striking off the name of the Accountant General (A&E), Assam on the ground that the Office of the Accountant General (A&E), Assam has no role to play.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that in the meantime the petitioner has retired and in the circumstance, the prayer of the petitioner is allowed for regularization, it will require certain directions to be passed against the Office of the Accountant General (A&E), Assam for the purpose of regularizing the pension of the petitioner.
3. Taking into account the above, it is therefore the opinion of this Court that striking out the name of the Accountant General (A&E), Assam in the present facts of the case would not be in the interest of justice.
4. Accordingly, this Court is of the opinion that the instant
