The petitioner approached the authorities with representation dated 29th April, 2025 praying for demarcation of the government land, the particular of which has been specifically mentioned in the said representation. Mr. Mahata, learned Additional Government Pleader, submits that the decision on the said representation shall be communicated to the petitioner within the time limit as may be fixed by this Court. In the light of the submissions made by the learned Advocates for the respective parties, WPA 5872 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the Block and Land Reforms Officer, Raninagar-II Block, Raninagar, Murshidabad, being the third respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29th April, 2025 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision. The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of 10 weeks from the receipt of a server copy of this order along with copy of the representation dated 29th April, 2025. It will be open to the said respondent authority to call for any documents from the petitioner and other land owners and if such a request is made, the petitioner shall render all necessary cooperation and assistance to the said respondent for the purpose of arriving at a decision on the aforesaid issue.
