1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks quashment of the impugned suspension order dated 03.08.2026 (Annexure P/1), passed by respondent No.4/Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Bilaspur.
2. At the outset, learned State counsel opposes the present petition and submits that the same is not maintainable in view of the availability of an efficacious statutory remedy of appeal under Rule 15 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Service (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999.
3. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to avail the statutory remedy of appeal before the appropriate appellate authority under the aforesaid Rules.
4. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of.
5. However, liberty is reserved in favour of the petitioner to avail the statutory remedy of appeal before the appropriate appellate authority, in accordance with Rule 15 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Service (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999, for redressal of his grievance.
