Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the owner of a vehicle for which he has been implicated in connection with the instant case. The subject matter of the case relate to alleged recovery of 400 bottles of Phensedyl.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is in custody in connection with the present case and the police report do not reflect he has any criminal antecedents.
Having considered the overall circumstances including the quantum of recovery and the complicity of the present petitioner, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Accordingly, Petitioner, namely, Anuj Giri shall furnish bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of Learned Judge, under NDPS Act, Nadia, Krishnanagar. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed before the learned Trial Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District of Nadia without the prior permission of the learned Special Court.
Thus, CRM (NDPS) 1372 of 2026 is allowed.
The Investigating Officer of the case is present in Court. His further appearance before this Court is dispensed with.
Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
