Goverdhan, Advocate For Respondents No. 1 and 2 : Mr. Ashish Surana, Advocate Hon’ble Shri Justice Rakesh Mohan Pandey Order On Board 14.8.2026 1) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an advertisement was issued by respondent No. 2 in year 2023 for appointment on 65 posts of Stenographer and petitioner participated in the written examination and the dictation test. He further submits that result was published on 4.10.2023 wherein the last selected candidate 2 under unreserved category secured 87 marks whereas the petitioner has been shown to have secured 83 marks. He also submits that petitioner applied for and obtained the copies of dictation test, which demonstrate startling facts in as much as various errors have been marked and marks have been deducted for the same, therefore petitioner may be permitted to make a detailed representation in this regard before the respondent No. 2, who in turn may directed to decide such representation at the earliest taking lenient view. 2) On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the respondents No. 1 and 2 would oppose. He submits that allotment of marks is legal, justified and does not warrant any interference by this Court. 3) Heard. 4) Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by the Mr. Goverdhan, this petition is hereby being disposed reserving liberty in favor of the petitioner to prefer a detailed representation before the respondent No. 2, who in turn is directed to decide the representation, if so preferred by the petitioner preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of such representation. 5) With the aforesaid direction, this petition stands disposed.
