Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are working on the post of Head Master and have challenged the impugned order dated 10.06.2026, whereby respondent No.5, who is working as Teacher (L.B.), has been posted as In-charge Assistant Block Education O8cer (ABEO), Block Chhura, District Gariyaband (C.G.). 2. It is submitted that the petitioners were initially appointed as Teachers (L.B.) and were subsequently promoted to the 3 post of Head Master vide promotion orders dated 11.11.2025. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, as per the provisional gradation list dated 08.06.2026 issued by respondent No.3, respondent No.5 is placed at Serial No.1149 and is junior to the petitioners. It is further submitted that, despite availability of senior and eligible Head Masters, respondent No.5 has been given the charge of In-charge ABEO by the impugned order dated 10.06.2026. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the impugned order is contrary to the provisions of the Chhattisgarh School Education Service (Educational and Administrative Cadre) Recruitment and Promotion Rules, 2026, as well as the applicable Government instructions. It is also submitted that the petitioners have submitted representations dated 14.07.2026 and 03.08.2026, contained in Annexure P/5, which are pending consideration before the respondent authorities. she, therefore, prays that the respondent authorities may be directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representations in accordance with law. 4. Learned State counsel submits that, if the aforesaid representations are still pending consideration, the same 4 shall be considered and decided by the competent authority in accordance with law and a necessary order shall be passed within a period of 25 days. 5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, if the representations dated 14.07.2026 and 03.08.2026 contained in Annexure P/5 are still pending consideration, the competent respondent authority is directed to consider and decide the same in accordance with law, the applicable rules and Government instructions, by passing a reasoned and speaking order, within a period of 25 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. The competent authority shall consider the representations independently and strictly in accordance with law. 7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
