SOMA RAJU YELISETTI The Court made the following: 3 VS,J C.C.No.752 of 2026 ORDER: This contempt case is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.31333 of 2025, dated 06.01.2025. The relevant portion of the said order is extracted hereunder: “…..Considering the above submissions, this Court feels it appropriate to direct the respondents to pay the admitted amount in favour of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With regard to other Issue i.e., notice dated 30.10.2025, wherein the petitioner was informed that action will be initiated to close the agreement under Clause 61 of PS to APDSS duly encashing the Bank Guarantee of deposits, without considering the fact that already State Level Standing Committee, in its meeting held on 21.05.2025, has recommended for the extension of the works up to 31.12.2025, this Court was pleased to pass an interim order directing the respondents not to initiate any further action against the petitioner till 31.12.2025. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation, on oral instructions, stated that though the time frame mentioned in the minutes of the meeting held on 21.05.2025 has already expired on 31.05.2025, the petitioner has failed to complete the works and as such, no further extension can be granted at this stage. However, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner has subsequently filed an application seeking extension. In view of the above, for hearing on this aspect, post the matter immediately after Pongal Vacation, 2026. The interim order granted earlier is extended for a further period of three (3) weeks.” 4 VS,J C.C.No.752 of 2026 2. In pursuance of the orders passed by this Court dated 01.05.2026, the 5th respondent appeared through virtual mode and informed this Court that the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.31333 of 2025, dated 06.01.2025 have been complied with. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also confirmed that the orders have been complied with by the respondents. 4. Recording the same, the Contempt Case is closed, as the respondents have already complied with the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.31333 of 2025, dated 06.01.2025.
