JUSTICE S VISHWAJITH SHETTY ORAL ORDER Accused in Crime No.200/2026 registered by K.R.Nagar Police Station, Mysuru for offences punishable under Sections 109, 118(1), 352, 351(2), 351(3) of BNSS, 2023, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.200/2026 was registered by K.R.Nagar Police Station, Mysuru for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner, based on the first information dated 18.05.2026 received from Muruli M.G., who is one of the injured victim in the present case. In the said case, petitioner was arrested on 19.05.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010413022026 NC: 2026:KHC:38717 CRL.P No. 8757 of 2026 jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.5167/2026 was rejected on 09.06.2026. Therefore, he is before this Court. 4. Perusal of the material on record, would go to show that, there is a case and counter case in respect of the alleged incident that had taken place on 17.05.2026. FIR in Crime No.200/2026 was registered against the petitioner herein for the aforesaid offences based on first information received from Muruli. Whereas, FIR in Crime No.202/2026 was registered against Muruli and others based on the first information received from Kumara Shetty, who is the father of the petitioner herein. 5. Learned High Court Government Pleader has submitted that the victims in the present case have suffered only simple injuries and they have been discharged from hospital. The incident in question appears to have taken place as an outcome of road rage. Under the circumstances, I am of the opinion that the petitioner's prayer for grant of regular bail, needs to be answered affirmatively, subject to appropriate conditions. Accordingly, the following: ORDER (i) The criminal petition is allowed. (ii) The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.200/2026 registered by K.R.Nagar Police Station, Mysuru for offences punishable under Sections 109, 118(1), 352, 351(2), 351(3) of BNSS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) Petitioner shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court; b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons; - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010413022026 NC: 2026:KHC:38717 CRL.P No. 8757 of 2026 c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses; d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future; Sd/- (S VISHWAJITH SHETTY) JUDGE MCR List No.: 1 Sl No.: 90
