ORAL ORDER
Earlier, this Court referred the matter to the Lok-adalat at Kundapura.
2. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter is settled before the Lok-adalat at Kundapura. In terms of the settlement, the matter was settled for an amount of Rs.3,25,000/- inclusive of the deposited amount before the Trial Court. The petitioner has already deposited an amount of Rs.1,70,000/- before the Trial Court and in view of the settlement, the remaining amount of Rs.1,55,000/- was also paid before the Lok-adalat by the petitioner to the respondent. To that effect, copies of the order sheet and also the joint memo are received by this Court from DLSA and the same is taken on record.

3. In view of settlement arrived between the parties, this revision petition is disposed of.
4. The amount in deposit before the Trial Court as per the directions given by the Appellate Court and also this Court is ordered to be released in favour of the respondent/complainant on proper identification and revision petitioner has no objection to release the said amount in favour of the respondent.
5. The petitioner is directed to pay the fine of Rs.2,000/-, which shall vest with the State, as ordered by the Trial Court within two weeks from today and directed to produce the receipt for having paid the said fine amount in the registry within one week thereafter. If fine is not paid, list the matter before this Court on 17.08.2026.
