Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. The 5th respondent is not represented despite service. On prayer of the petitioner, liberty is granted to expunge the name of the 6th respondent from the cause title of the application. The cause title of the application be amended accordingly. The petitioners approached this Court in a writ petition being WPA 5400 of 2023 seeking a direction upon the Pradhan, Rishi Bankim Chandra Gram Panchayat for consideration of their applications for grant of heirship certificate after demise of their father. By an order passed on 20th March, 2023, a coordinate Bench of this Court directed the Pradhan to dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioners in accordance with law subject to certain conditions laid down in the order. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the said order has not been complied with by the Pradhan till date. The petitioners seek compliance of the order. In view of the above, the Pradhan, Rishi Bankim Chandra Gram Panchayat, being the 5th respondent herein, is directed to comply with the order dated 20th March, 2023 passed by this Court in WPA 5400 of 2023 within four 2 weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioners, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioners within a week thereof. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
