The petitioner had made an application for compassionate appointment, upon the death of his father as a Constable. 3. The petitioner’s father was a Constable in the State police, having joined service sometime in November, 1986. The petitioner’s father expired in February, 2021 and even though the petitioner had made an application for compassionate appointment, the same has not yet been considered. 4. The petitioner places reliance on a communication dated July 13, 2023, whereby it appears that the petitioner has been found eligible for employment for the post of Group-D under Exempted category. In spite of such communication dated July 13, 2023, the State Government authorities have not acted on the same. 5. The concerned authorities are directed to act in accordance with the communication dated July 13, 2023 by September 15, 2026. 2 6. With the afore-stated directions, WPA 17818 of 2026 is disposed of. 7. There shall be no order as to costs. 8.
