GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: Non consideration of the petitioner’s representation dated 20.12.2025 submitted to the respondents for releasing his seized vehicle Access Scooter bearing No.AP40 CG 5290 and Chassis No.MB8DP12PBR8722559 in Crime No.115/2025 dated 19.08.2025 registered under Section 34(a),(f) & (h) of Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, is the grievance of the petitioner. 2. Heard Sri Garsikuti Harsha Vardhan, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Prohibition Excise. 3. Learned Government Pleader for Prohibition Excise brought to the notice of this Court that confiscation orders have been passed and the petitioner has to question the same before the appropriate forum and the authorities would consider the representations so made, accordingly, prayed to dismiss the writ petition. 4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents did not serve a copy of the said confiscation orders on them. However, as the Government Pleader has served a copy across the bench and a liberty may be given to the petitioner to question the same before the appropriate forum. 4 5. Taking their submissions into consideration, as confiscation orders have already been passed by the respondents and the same have been served across the bench on the learned counsel for the petitioner and as the petitioner has an intention to question the same before appropriate forum, there is no purpose in keeping the writ petition pending, as such, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition giving liberty to the petitioner to approach appropriate authority to question the said confiscation proceedings in accordance with law. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
