ORAL ORDER
This writ petition is filed by petitioner/wife requesting this court to give direction to the Family Court to expeditiously dispose of the matter in M.C.No.473/2020 pending before the III Addl. Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel for petitioner stated that the petitioner filed for divorce in the year 2020, but still the matter is coming up for cross examination. She was called several times and several applications were filed by respondent and he is trying to drag on the proceedings, on one or other basis.
3. Previously, the petitioner had approached this Court in an
order passed by coordinate bench in WP No.9511/2025 dated 09.06.2025, this Court had directed Family Court not to grant unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties and to dispose of the matter in accordance with

law. But still it appears that respondent is not cooperating with the court and filing several applications only to drag on the proceedings. As the matter is of the year 2020, Family Court is
directed to dispose of the matter as early as possible by giving reasonable opportunity to both sides, if the respondent is not co-operating for cross examination, Family Court can pass conditional orders. Respondent counsel is also directed to cooperate with the court, for disposal of the case, at earlier point of time.
Accordingly, this writ petitioner is hereby disposed of.
