1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who was retired from the post of Head Constable (GD) from Unit 188 BN on 31.01.2023, seeks various reliefs. However, at present, the petitioner confines his prayer only to relief clause 10.4, seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to conclude the departmental proceedings pending against him and pass a final
order.
2. At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the parties jointly submit that the departmental enquiry has already been concluded and presently the matter has been placed before the Hon'ble President of India for obtaining necessary approval before passing the final order.

Learned counsel for the respondents/Union of India further submits that since only the final decision is awaited, the present petition may be disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondent authorities to conclude the pending departmental enquiry and pass necessary order within a period of 90 days.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.
5. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the submissions made by
learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondent authorities that after receipt of the requisite approval, pass the final order in the
3 departmental proceedings pending against the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
