ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Call for the records on the file of the Respondent No.2 pertaining to the Order bearing No. VOMSHAVRUKSHA/C.R/10/2025- 26 dated 30.5.2026. b. Issue a Certiorari quashing the impugned order bearing No. VOMSHAVRUKSHA/C.R/10/2025- 26 vide Annexure-Y dated 30.05.2026 passed by the Respondent No.2 and consequently direct the Respondent Nos. 2 & 3 to issue Mang Garudi Caste Certificate to the petitioner. c. Pass such any other
order/s, Relief/s, Directions this Hon’ble Authority may deem fit to pass under the facts and circumstances of the above case, in the interests of justice and equity.
2. What is challenged in the present petition is the
order dated 30.05.2026 passed by respondent No.2 at Annexure-Y under Section 4B of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act,
1989. The petitioner has an efficacious statutory remedy of revision under Section 4F of the said Act.

3. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to avail of the same, petition stands disposed.
4. The petitioner would be entitled to the benefit of Section 14 of the Limitation Act during the time spent in prosecuting the above petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the review petition would be filed by 31.07.2026. In that view of the matter, the interim order earlier granted is extended until 31.07.2026 or until the date on which the Revision Authority considers the revision petition filed by the petitioner. It is for the Revision Authority to decide whether the interim order would be required to be extended or not.
