Sufficient grounds are available to explain the delay in conclusion of the arbitration proceeding, by the arbitrator appointed by this Court. 2. In terms of Section 29 A of the Arbitration a Conciliation Act, 1996, this Court peremptorily extends the period for passing of award in the pending arbitration by a period of six months. This will be treated as final extension. 3. In default of passing of award within the time indicated above, the parties shall be at liberty to approach this Court for appointment of a fresh arbitrator. 4. With the aforesaid observations, AP/9/2026 stands disposed of. 5. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
