The present writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner, a retired Assistant Engineer, seeking a direction to the respondents for payment of the amounts due towards F.B.F./Family Welfare Fund and Group Insurance, along with interest, and for extending the benefit of the Sixth Digitally signed by JYOTI JHA Date: 2026.08.13 12:09:52 +0530
2 Pay Commission with effect from 01.01.2006 along with consequential arrears. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 10.01.2006 (Annexure P/2) before the competent authority seeking payment of the amount towards F.B.F./Family Welfare Fund and Group Insurance. However, the said representation has not yet been considered and the aforesaid dues have not been paid. He, therefore, confines his prayer to a direction to the competent authority to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner within a stipulated period. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents does not oppose the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 4. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the concerned authority is directed to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P/2) of the petitioner seeking payment of the amount towards F.B.F./Family Welfare Fund and Group Insurance in accordance with law within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
The petitioner shall be at liberty to submit an additional representation along with all relevant documents, if so advised. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed anything on the merits of the case. 6. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/-
