The petitioner is an accused in connection with Doranda P.S. Case No.321 of 2023. It has been alleged that the informant had been subjected to torture after one month of the marriage with the petitioner for non- fulfillment of the demand of dowry. On 11.10.2023 the informant was pushed from the stairs by the petitioner and she suffered severe injuries. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the husband of the informant who is in custody since 17.01.2026. It has been submitted that the petitioner undertakes to keep the informant with him with full dignity and honour. Learned A.P.P. as also the learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner and the undertaking given by the petitioner which finds place in the application for bail, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-XIII, Ranchi in connection with Doranda P.S.
