Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS by the petitioner seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Bidanasi P.S. Case No.291 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No.981 of 2025 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C- III(Cog.), Cuttack on the grounds stated. 3. Perused the FIR as at Annexure-1. 4. The report has been lodged for theft of a CCTV installed and said to have been removed by the miscreants. The petitioner apprehends arrest after such a report being lodged. It is informed to the Court that the petitioner was though having an antecedent but he stood acquitted in the meantime and therefore, the Court should direct him to surrender before the learned court below to go on bail. Recorded the objection of the State. It is made to reveal from the FIR i.e. Annexure-1 that some unknown culprits committed the theft. If in case, the petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with the alleged incident, according to the Court, he is at liberty to surrender before the learned Court of the J.M.F.C-III(Cog.), Cuttack seeking regular bail. 5. Accordingly, it is ordered. 6. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of. In the event the petitioner surrenders within a fortnight from today and moves an application seeking regular bail in connection with G.R. Case No.981 of 2025 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C-III(Cog.), Cuttack, it is directed that the same shall be entertained during the first hour followed by an order and in the event of rejection, he is to approach the learned Sessions Court during the second hour for orders on the same day considering the plea of parity and for the said purpose, the case record shall be made available. 7.
