This Court, vide order dated 24.01.2025 passed in MCRC No. 697 of 2025, while allowing the bail of the petitioner, namely, Manoj Kumar Singh, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi>ed copy of that order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 time for compliance of the order dated 24.01.2025. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act) Surajpur, District- Surajpur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 23.07.2026 has requested for grant of 06 months additional time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the P.U.D. that in the present case, charges were framed against accused Manoj Kumar Singh and Karamveer Kumar Patil on 21.03.2025. The record further reveals that the case was thereafter >xed for framing of charge against accused Ajay Kumar Gupta, however, owing to his non-appearance, the charge could not be framed. Consequently, his bail bonds were cancelled and warrants of arrest were issued against him. Despite repeated opportunities and continuous issuance of warrants of arrest, his presence could not be secured. Owing to the continued absence of accused Ajay Kumar Gupta, the trial could not be concluded within the stipulated period. Accordingly, the learned trial Court has sought extension of time and has prayed for grant of a further period of six months for securing the presence of the accused and concluding the trial and >nal disposal of the case. 6. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting six months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 04 months time for concluding the trial from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o7 with the aforesaid direction. 8.
