1. The petitioners pray for pre-arrest bail in connection with Dhupguri Police Station Case No.206 of 2026 dated 03.07.2026 under Sections 115(2)/126(2)/3(5)/351(2)74/118(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
2. The learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and produces the case diary.
3. From the materials on record, it appears that a family dispute between the brothers led to a scuffle, which got out of hand.
4. Accordingly, this Court directs that in the event of arrest the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.25,000/- each, with two registered sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The further condition is that the petitioner no.1 shall meet the investigating officer once a week and shall not leave the
2 jurisdiction of Dhupguri Police Station. The petitioner no.2 shall cooperate with the investigation.
5. In case the petitioners fail to adhere to any of the conditions as stated above, the anticipatory bail will stand automatically cancelled.
6. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed and disposed of.
7. Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
